The ZDF Mediathek: Access Live TV and TV shows from ZDF on your smartphone or tablet
Did you miss the today show on Friday night or don't have a television set? Thanks to the ZDF Mediathek, you can still access the complete offering of ZDF - comfortably through the Android app. Whether you want to watch previously aired TV series and movies at a later time or follow your favorite team's game live on your tablet, the Mediathek makes it possible and quickly streams the desired program to your mobile device.
Of course, you can also access the Mediathek through your browser. However, the Android app offers additional convenient features:

Missed your favorite show? With the Android app, you have access to the entire ZDF Mediathek and can catch up whenever it suits you. The films or series are available online for at least one week after they have aired - many formats are available even longer. You have a choice of up to 30,000 on-demand videos. In the "Last Chance" category, you can get an overview of shows that will go offline soon. Speaking of offline: If you will be without access to Wi-Fi or a mobile data connection for a longer period of time, you can prepare in advance by stocking up on your favorites. Almost all films and TV series can be made available for offline viewing in the app.

There are TV shows that you don't want to miss an episode of. Bookmark these formats via the app so you never miss any updates! You can also have push notifications remind you of new episodes of your favorite show. If you don't have time right away, simply add all the videos you want to watch later to your personal watchlist. As a registered user, you can access this personal data from any device on which you have installed the ZDF Mediathek app.
